workFile EPOS has always included a BPM module (Business Process Management), allowing you to take control of simple business processes. So what is BPM? So how does this work? Well basically, one degree consultants help you understand your business processes; these are then created as intelligent processes within the BPM module. This module is accessible through the standard workFile EPOS interface and provides users with a number of queues and items of work. These items of work are created by the system for particular actions, and can include any of your processes that you undergo at work. So for example, you may want to remind customers that they have items layed away for them, if so, then BPM will set you a piece of work to contact this customer when the time is right. You may need to send a picking list off to the warehouse ready for shipment, if so, BPM will automatically do this for you. If you want invoices raised on a particular date for corporate customers, then don’t worry, BPM can automate this task and do all your invoicing for you...
